This year the trip to Woodrow was slightly different. We weren’t allowed to stay over and this meant we did two single days rather than the whole weekend.
We took part in activities such as low ropes, high ropes, team building activities. After a year of not being able to do music together it was what the whole department needed. The 6th Form students who have been part of the trip every year since they joined the school decided to come in fancy dress and it added to the whole weekend. Everyone had so much fun, it left us excited for the rest of the term and what is to come.

Woodrow 2021 was amazing! After a year of restrictions and uncertainty due to COVID it was exactly what we needed to just feel normal again.
Woodrow allowed us to become closer as a Music Department, communicating and team building with all year groups as well as having time to rehearse for our upcoming events. It was the best way of spending my final residential at HGSS.
