Challenge 30 Week
Please enter an introduction for your news story here.
During May Half Term week, we asked as many students and staff to participate in the ’Challenge 30 Week’. Every day of half term, we asked you to challenge yourself to an activity based around the number 30. For example, 30 minutes walking each day, cycling for 30 minutes, 30 press ups a day, 30 star jumps etc.
A big thank you to all staff and students who took part. We had a range of activities, to include cycling, HIT training, yoga, running and basketball. We even had Mrs Whitby challenging herself to 30 star jumps, whilst wearing her wedding dress, just after renewing her wedding vows! Massive congratulations! Watch below:
We hope you all enjoyed participating in the challenge and we hope that you all continue to stay active as it has many well known benefits;
- Increased energy and self esteem
- Focus on school work
- Reduces stress
- Better mood
- Better sleep
