Computer Science and ICT
I have been so impressed with the way that you have all embraced using new software to access your lessons.
KS3 students have been getting to grips with sharing documents and with so many of you producing some exceptional work using Excel software this term, I would like to celebrate you all. Even though we are not in school I have still been awarding a lot of Achievement points so keep up the great work! The Year 9, 10 and 12 Computer Science students have really got to grips using Class One note to access all of the information and submit their work. Special mention to Ben Banks, Leo Hatton and Dauwd Kazi in Year 9 as they are always the first to email me that they have completed their work and I have been setting some challenging questions…..so a huge well done! In Year 10 Riley Fry is always the first to start his work on a Friday morning and a special mention goes to Amy Taylor, Tania Dardi and Varshita Sri Kadari for completing all work set to a very high standard. Well done to Joseph Pearce for undertaking extra programming challenges and I can't wait to see them all in action! In Year 12 Daniel Cook and Jack Murphy have shown fantastic participation in their live lessons and also shown great resilience when I have swapped the order of topics around. This hasn't fazed them one bit and they have been producing some excellent work in their coursework unit, I know it helps that we are discussing the Computer Gaming Industry but even so......
